Tegan's Mum's name is Rebecca. She's got two teenage kids and she's balancing working with caring for her kids. Tegan's Mum wants to help her children do everything they want with their lives, so when Tegan says she doesn't want to eat meat anymore, after initial wariness, she embraces the challenge with gusto. She's supportive and kind, though there is a moment when she's working really hard to make food for Tegan that she thinks it would be easier if Tegan went back to the way things were – she's busy and has a lot on her plate. In the end though, she loves her kids, as all mums do so the effort is more than worth it to see her daughter happy.
